Office plants

Planting designed into the furniture.

Not pots placed on desks. Troughs built into joinery and workstation spines, planted as a continuous run, with each plant sitting in a removable inner pot so any one of them can be swapped without disturbing the arrangement.

Species are chosen for office conditions — overhead light, air conditioning and irregular watering. Snake Plant and its variegated forms, Aglaonema, ZZ Plant and the Pothos family all hold up well.

Maintenance visits are arranged to suit the site. Ask us what your space would need.

Homes, verandas & balconies

Verandas, balconies and passages.

Kolkata flats tend to give you a veranda, a passage or a balcony rather than a garden. Those are good spaces to plant — they are sheltered, they get one reliable direction of light, and they are seen every day.

The work is planting design rather than construction: what will survive in that particular light, in what vessels, at what heights, and how it will look from inside the room as well as outside it.

Every space is different, so we visit, then quote.

Office fit-out · integrated trough planting

Grey powder-coated troughs set into walnut-finish credenzas and workstation spines, running the length of an open-plan floor. Planted with Snake Plant and its variegated form, pink Aglaonema, ZZ Plant, Neon Pothos and N'Joy Pothos.
